What makes a quote a good quote? I think it's one that:
makes you think a new thought
gives you a good laugh
reminds you of life's beauty
gives you hope or strength
leaves you feeling a renewed sense of the sacred
rings true to the hearer
parallel structure (says my roommate)
I started keeping a list of meaningful quotes in the back of my scripture journal and occasionally reflect on them. I've been meaning to post these ever since I shared them with Lindsey and Sarah at home one morning a few weeks ago. So, here they are:
