After long day of school of working and studying, they still get exited to see mommy. As soon as they find my car, they come dashing with a wide grin. It always makes me feel loved.
These pictures remind me of our life in Wisconsin. We lived in a 600 sq. ft. apartment with no income and three kids to raise. Daddy was committed to his studies. So I had big pressure to take care of three little kids all by myself. It wasn't the easiest time of our life but we managed to live through it. We have so many sweet memories there. I still remember the day I took these pictures as if it was yesterday. Whenever I look at these pictures, it gives me the power to stay strong.
I like to give myself a challenge. For example, last week I forced myself to take these long stairs instead of the easy escalator. Trust me, escalator was more attractive but I like the feeling of being able to accomplish such a difficult challenge.
I LOVE it, Kie. I need to come visit you - I didn't know you had such a cute collage of pictures up in your house. It's beautiful. I miss you! And you are so awesome and giving to others. I love that about you. ! Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Kie! I've always been impressed with your mothering. I love the pictures of your children running to the car. What great kids you've got! And that collage inspires me to make a wall of photos in our house (although doing that would also qualify as a "challenge" for me :) And can I just add that I am amazed you survived 3 children in a 600 ft apartment back in Wisconsin! You are incredible!!
ReplyDeleteWow-- the picture of the kids running toward you after school is the cutest thing ever! I love the photo collage, the beautiful sunset and the fact that you love to challenge yourself. I am really hoping that I can see you guys over Christmas break!
ReplyDeleteKie, I love this! Your kids are so cute and I can tell they really love you and you them. You're such a great mom! You really have a gift with photography, too. I love that you took the huge staircase instead of the elevator. :) Your sunrises in Cali really are spectacular! Miss you!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kie, I was so happy when I saw this post! I was so excited your shared some of your favorite things! It made me miss you and children! I can just see the them running to see you after school having witnessed it many times myself. I too think you have a gift for photography - especially of children. I didn't know you liked a challenge but I could have guessed that since you wanted to come to America as a young person and did it all on your own! Love you! Mom
ReplyDeleteKie, I loved to see your post and the things you enjoy! You are one of my "hero moms" because I often think to myself, "What would Kie do?" when I have a hard situation with my kids. The answer is always something loving, and I am grateful for that example by you. I LOVE your photography board! and not only do you like a challenge, but it is very clear to me that you SUCCEED at your challenges! I miss and love you!
